digital video wall

During operation, it is easy to appear the phenomenon of the blurred screens for digital  LCD video wall. How to solve this annoying problem?

When the LCD video wall appears blurred screen, we can take the following six solutions:

The first solution: Check whether the connection between the LCD video wall and the display card is loose. Poor contact results in “messy” and “mottled” screens, the most common type of blurred screen.

Second solution: Check if the video card is over-frequency. If the video card is over-frequency, irregular and intermittent horizontal stripes will appear. In this case, the over-frequency amplitude should be appropriately reduced. Note that the frequency of video storage is reduced first.

Third solution: Check the quality of the graphics card. If the blurred screen still appears after replacing the graphics card, the first and second solutions are invalid, and it is necessary to check whether the anti-electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic shielding quality of the graphics card are qualified. The specific measures are: to install some components that may cause electromagnetic interference, try to stay away from the display card (such as the hard disk), and then check whether the blurred screen disappears. If it is determined that the electromagnetic shielding function of the graphics card is insufficient, the graphics card should be replaced.

The fourth solution: Check whether the resolution or refresh speed of the LCD video wall is too high. The resolution of the LCD video wall is generally lower than that of cathode ray tube displays. If the resolution of the LCD video wall exceeds the optimal resolution recommended by the manufacturer, a blurred screen may occur.

Fifth solution: Check if an incompatible graphics card driver is installed. In general, this is easily overlooked because video card drivers are being updated faster and faster (especially NVIDIA cards), and some users can’t wait to install the latest version of the driver. In fact, some of the latest drivers are either beta or optimized drivers for a particular graphics card or game, and using these drivers can sometimes lead to blurred screens. Therefore, it is recommended that you try a Microsoft-certified driver, preferably the one provided by the graphics card manufacturer.

The sixth solution: If the above five solutions cannot solve the problem, it may be the quality problem of the LCD video wall. At this time, it is recommended to replace another LCD video wall.
